December 6th 1989. It's been 30 years since fourteen young women were killed at l'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. Since then, we've recognized December 6th as the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

On December 6th, we're also remembering the 1000s of missing and murdered First Nations, Metis, and Inuit women, girls, and two-spirited people in Canada.

On December 6th, we're honouring all victims of gender-based violence in our community and across our nation.
