The WRDSB has released a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) pertaining to the Communication of Learning process and a TWEA Tips and Tricks sheet has been prepared. Both documents can be found on our website and Memberhub.

ETFO Provincial has also released a Professional Judgement Matters document with advice for Kindergarten teachers. This has been shared with the Early Years Consultants as well as senior administration.

Kindergarten teachers now have access to the new report card on TWEA.

We are seeking input from the members of ETFO – Waterloo Region regarding possible amendments to our local Constitution and By-Laws.

Amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws will be made at the Winter General Membership Meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2017. Motions for constitutional amendments may not be made from the floor of the General Membership Meeting.

As well, the ETFO Provincial Annual Meeting will be held in August 2017. ETFO - Waterloo Region will send 21 delegates to attend the meeting. Locals may submit resolutions to the meeting that can help steer the direction of the Provincial Organization by affecting the constitution and by-laws or policy and position statements.
