Presenter: Jennifer Pinder - Developmental Support Teacher, WRDSB
Early invention can make a lifetime of difference for a student with autism!
Join us as we explore how to teach play skills to allow students with autism to grow and thrive in FDK!
Participants will gain insight into how FDK documents and new resources can be used as tools to evaluate and meet the specific needs of students with ASD. We will be exploring strategies on how to explicitly teach and scaffold play skills, how to support students at various learning centres and how to positively reinforce social skills such as turn taking and waiting.
This event is for ETFO Contact Teacher members only.
